Art auction benefits Safe Haven

    MILFORD — Safe Haven of Pike County is proud to present its first annual “Art-Thentic” Art Auction on Saturday, July 12 at 7 p.m. at the Emerson House in Milford. The theme of this year’s art auction is “Vision-Dignity-Community!” The Emerson House will be open all day beginning at 8 a.m. for auction previews. Early bids will be accepted. Complimentary music, food and raffles will be available with a cash bar. Donations are always appreciated. Sponsors for this year’s event are PP&L, GMAC Mortgage, the Hotel Fauchure, and Safe Haven’s youth leadership program, RYOT. All proceeds from the Art-Thentic Art Auction will benefit Safe Haven’s Education Outreach programs. Safe Haven provides support and individual counseling for students at the Delaware School District and the Wallenpaupak Area School District. Students have the opportunity to attend programs addressing issues on healthy relationships, anger management, peer pressure, bullying and dating violence. All of Safe Haven’s services are free and confidential. Come enjoy an evening of vision, dignity and community; all while supporting Safe Haven’s services to children in Pike County.
