AUGUSTA, N.J. This year's Peters Valley Craft Fair and Concert is this weekend, Sept. 15 and 16. The fair's hours are: Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with the concert beginning at 8 p.m., and on Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

For the past 37 years, Peters Valley’s main fundraising event has been their annual craft fair. The Peters Valley Craft Fair hosts over 170 juried artisans, live music, artist demonstrations, community organizations, free kid’s art area and great food. One can find a myriad of art, which includes jewelry, ceramics, woodworking, basketry, glass, leather, clothing, photography, sculpture and more. It is a dynamic feast for the senses. The public has the opportunity to view and purchase original art while immersing themselves in the glory of artists at work. In addition to the craft fair, Peters Valley brings music to Sussex County with the Billy Hector Band and special guest Big Fun(k!) at the Saturday night concert. The proceeds from the concert and the craft fair are used to support Peters Valley and its mission to promote artists and the American craft movement. Tickets to the craft fair are $7 and the concert ticket (which includes entrance into the fair Saturday) is only $20 in advance and $25 at the door. For tickets or information, call 973-948-5200.
