Milford — The Gallery at Antiques of Milford in Forest Hall proudly announces the opening reception of “Dawn to Dusk,” on Saturday, July 5. This is a one-person exhibit of paintings on wood by local artist David Lee Bush. The exhibit will run until Saturday, Aug. 2. David Lee Bush is based in Shohola, and New York City. A professional graphic designer as well as a talented painter, he finds motivation and inspiration in the light and natural surroundings of the Upper Delaware River Valley. This second exhibit at The Gallery includes new paintings that represent changing light, tracing the arc of a single day through the beauty of the simple objects that surround us. Schooled at the University of Hawaii, UC Santa Cruz, and Parsons School of Design in NYC, David has worked in the graphic design field for over twenty-five years, notably with media companies such as Disney Consumer Products, Warner Bros., Viacom, and United Media Licensing. In 2005, he shifted his focus from the corporate world and established his studio on a panoramic stretch of the Delaware Valley in Shohola, PA. While still working with NYC clients, David has dedicated hours to representing the beauty right outside his door. His work is in collections in New York City, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and most recently, has been selected for inclusion in the upcoming prestigious Salmagundi Club Open Exhibition at 47 Fifth Avenue, New York, New York, which will run from June 30 through July 18. “Dawn to Dusk” marks David’s second consecutive year exhibiting locally.
