Chamber to hold legislative breakfast

MILFORD — The Pike County Chamber of Commerce and its Government Affairs committee are holding a Legislative Breakfast on Monday, Sept. 22, starting at 7:30 a.m. at Mount Haven Restaurant and Resort, Log Cabin Road in Milford. The event will connect Pike County’s federal and state elected officials and its business community with the goal of communicating the needs of Pike County business owners. In addition, business owners can learn about the presenters’ legislative activities. Slated to attend are United States Representative Christopher P. Carney (D-10), state Senator Elisabeth J. Baker (R-20), state Representative Michael Peifer (R-139), and state Representative John J. Siptroth (D-189). “Connecting the business community with our elected officials is very important to our economy,” stated Scott J. Weiland, executive director.
