MILFORD — The Highlands Photographic Guild will present Jennifer Clingenpeel’s Reconfigured Landscape on view from Nov. 9 to Dec. 2. Jennifer recently relocated to Hawley from Las Cruces, N.M., where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from New Mexico State University. Her work up to this point has always included an element of landscape but primarily focused on women and the figure. Her latest body of work focuses only on landscape. It is about deconstructing the traditional landscape and finding new ways to show the places she photographs. Reconfigured Landscape is about composition and decomposition, about putting together and taking apart, finding new ways to look at landscape in general. An opening reception with refreshments will be held on Saturday, Nov. 10 from 6 to 9 p.m. during Milford’s monthly Art After Dark evening. The Highlands Photographic Guild at 224 Broad Street (Wachovia Bank Building) is open Friday n Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more information call 570-296-2440 or visit www.highlandsphotoguild.com .
