— Songwriter and virtuoso guitarist MiZ (Michael Mizwinski) will perform folk, bluegrass, and blues at the Hawley Silk Mill at 8 p.m. on Saturday, March 7.

“Michael Mizwinski’s sound is directly impacted by the coal mining region of Pennsylvania," said Jill Carletti, managing director of Harmony Presents. "His songs evoke the rustic tones and imagery you would expect from the region and it's cultural heritage. For this show, MiZ will be infusing his performance with tunes by Bob Dylan, a legend whom he’s shared the stage with and admired for years."

MiZ has also performed with Shawn Colvin, Leon Russell, Blue Oyster Cult, Railroad Earth and Blues Traveler.

"This will be his fourth show with us over the course of our two-year life," Carletti said. "We always love when Michael performs here. He really takes listeners on a ride. His playing is truly spell-binding. It’s no wonder that he has such a loyal following in the region."

Cocoon caters wine, beer, snacks and mixed drinks on site at the shows. An advance ticket serves as a coupon for 20 percent off at the Ledges Hotel for a limited time.
