Delaware Poker run for good causes

Dingmans Ferry — On Saturday, Sept. 12, (rain date Sept. 13) the Delaware Township Republican Club is sponsoring its annual poker run, this year to benefit Safe Haven and Pike County Sheriff’s Crime and Drug Prevention Program. Meet at the Village at Delaware Ridge, across from Dime Bank in Dingmans Ferry. The parking lot opens at 8 a.m. and registration is from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Breakfast will be available for purchase. Start your engines at 11 a.m. The cost is $25 for drivers and $10 for riders, Children under 8 years old ride free. The end of ride destination is the Side Street Tavern in Dingmans Ferry, where there will be a barbecue from 3 to 5 p.m. with music provided by a DJ. The barbecue cost for non-poker run participants $15.
