Delaware Valley students compete in Scholastic Art

WESTFALL Delaware Valley High School participates annually in the Regional Scholastic Art Awards Competition held at Marywood University. Sponsored by the Scranton Times, this competition brings in participation from high school students in five area counties of northeastern Pennsylvania. Over 1,500 pieces are submitted to the competition. Entries were selected by art teachers as the best work by their students and submitted for regional judging. The final decision is made by a panel of judges consisting of art educators and art professionals who select the best 175 works to be entered into the show. All works in the show earn a Certificate of Merit. Entries earning a Silver or Gold key award signify that they are the stronger pieces in the show.
