Donations needed for tricky tray success

Milford — Pike County Humane Society will be holding its annual Tricky Tray at Delaware Valley Middle School on Saturday, Sept. 6. Our largest fundraiser of the year is becoming well known throughout the area as being one of, if not the best, in terms of superior items and low ticket prices year after year. To maintain the quality and quantity of trays and to make sure more money goes directly to help the animals, the society is seeking your help. We ask businesses and residents to help us help the animals at the shelter like those seen running around our facility. Please donate either a new item for a tricky tray basket or better yet, donate an already filled baskets with new items valued at $50. In the past businesses and residents have donated gift certificates for restaurants, groceries, gas, oil changes and local shops as well as baskets filled with jewelry, pet items, CD’s, DVD’s, kitchen items and more. Pick a theme and have fun with your basket. You may donate as much or as little as you would like. Everything goes to benefit the Pike County Humane Society’s shelter. If one of our volunteers comes to your establishment, please consider giving an item to aid our cause. They work hard and donate endless hours as we have had either an event or fundraiser for 22 of the last 25 weekends this year. If you have an extra day and would like to help, please contact us. To donate items or for more information, please contact Barry Heim, Executive Director of the Pike County Humane Society at 570-296-6080 or email pchumanesociety@earthlink.net.
