DV to host district chorus

MILFORD — The Delaware Valley High School music department will host the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) District Chorus in February.
Starting on Feb. 4, 210 students selected from 55 high schools will join for two days of rehearsal and camaraderie, and the opportunity to audition for a spot on the regional chorus.
Two hard but rewarding days of rehearsal will culminate in a concert open to the public at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 5, in the high school auditorium, 256 Route 6 and 209.
Admission is $5. Proceeds will help PMEA continue to provide these special opportunities for students.
The DV school district has been voted one of the best communities for music education two years in a row, which music teachers say is largely due to overwhelming support from the wider community.
"We invite all members of the community to come and enjoy a wonderful concert and experience the talent you so earnestly support," says the department's invitation.
The concert is supported in part by the nonprofit DV Music Booster Club.
