Fall frolic returns to Milford - Something for everyone in your body, spirit and earth conscious family
MILFORD The second Annual Fall Frolic is to be held by the Sacred Crossroads Association in Milford, at Camp Netimus on the Autumn Equinox weekend of Friday, Sept. 19 through Sunday, Sept. 21 with our special guest being Shamanic Journeyer/New Age author, Colleen Deatsman. There will be: a kickball tournament, relay races, workshops including a drumming workshop for the wee folk; lots of cool tunes that even the pickiest teen can rock out to on both Friday and Saturday nights; a recipe contest at their Potluck Feast and a belly dance or yoga class for Mom. Don’t forget the PVC and foam swordplay tournament, the Warrior Games and mead-making workshop for Dad. Gates to the Fall Frolic Festival will open on Friday at 2 p.m., with “At the gate” weekend passes at $90 per adult, $80 per senior, $65 per child 6-11 years of age, while children 5 and under are free. For earlier registration and cheaper rates before the festival, go to the Frolic’s Web site at www.thefallfrolic.com. Be sure to check out on Friday night The Patchwork Quilt Fallacy, These 3 Poisons, and featured musician, Tiffany Apan. On Saturday night the Frolic will have New York singer/songwriter Fiz, featuring Angel and featured musician, Katrin. Come see these talented musicians each night all for a featured price of $10 and then join the frolickers, if you wish, for an evening of merriment around the fire circle until 2 a.m. Tickets can be purchased online now at the Frolic Web site, www.thefallfrolic.com.
