The Pike County Historical Society and Museum will host an afternoon fashion show and informal tea at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 17, at the Columns Museum, 608 Broad St., Milford.

The event showcases the many items in the society's vintage clothing collection, presented by the museum's summer interns.

Taking the lead is Sarah Hawthorne, who, along with Olivia Nobile, Shaye Kelly, and Thea Thomas, are second-year participants in the summer intern program. They are feeling quite at home in the museum as they organize the outfits for the show.

The show will take place on the main floor, where guests will be treated to a narrated fashion show. The models will descend the grand staircase in a range of outfits spanning the fashions of the past 100-plus year. Guests will enjoy tea and assorted sweets and savories while watching the show.

Tickets are $25. Proceeds will go towards the restoration of the museum's circa 1850 stagecoach known as "The Hiawatha."

Discounted tickets for senior citizens and "well-mannered children" are $20.
