FDR in PJ

Port Jervis, N.Y. — The Port Jervis Council for the Arts, Port Java, and the Pienpack Company are sponsoring “Franklin D. Roosevelt: A Rendezvous with Destiny.” This free program will be on May 24, at 3 p.m. at Port Java in Port Jervis, presented by historian Peter Osborne. The program looks at the life of one of the twentieth century’s most important leaders, who led America through the Depression and then through World War II. FDR’s influence on the twentieth century was profound and still impacts each of us to this day. His policies provide a basis for how our country might address its serious economic problems today.
