with August turkey dinner LORDS VALLEY It will be Thanksgiving in August at Blooming Grove Fire Department, on Sunday, Aug. 2, from 1 to 5 p.m. The Blooming Grove Volunteer Fire Department will be hosting a completely homemade Turkey Dinner with all the fixings, just like Thanksgiving at mom’s. It will be held at the main fire hall on state Route 739, one mile north of Interstate Highway 84, in Lords Valley. The cost is $12 for adults and $6 for children under 12. The dinner will include salad, turkey, home made dressing, real mashed potatoes, vegetables, dessert and beverages or BYOB. For further information call 570-775-7355.
