'Gift Show' reception featured in Saturday's 'Milford After Dark'

MILFORD — The works of local artisans, craftspeople and designers will be featured in the first-ever "Gift Show" in the Upstairs Gallery of the Milford Craft Show store at 120 East Harford St., Milford.
The show opens on Saturday, Nov. 11, as part of "Milford After Dark." Highlights include a wine and sweets reception and a meet-and-greet with the artists.
This special gallery show offers Milford shoppers a chance to buy local works of art for those on their holiday gift list. Original framed works, pottery, sculpture and fiber pieces will be available and the show will run through Christmas, with new works added for the store's holiday open house on Dec. 9.
"We love giving local gifts to our loved ones on Christmas and want to make it easier for our guests to do the same," said Barbara Eisenberg, who opened her store nearly 25 years ago and has represented more than a thousand crafters through the years.
All pieces will be priced $50 or less.
Artists interested in submitting their work for consideration — children are encouraged to participate — should email mail@milfordcraftshow.com.
