MILFORD — The Artery Gallery has a new exhibition featuring artistry in glass by Elisa Ferracane and framed dimensional paper sculpture by Chris Hobbs. The exhibition runs from Oct. 11 through Nov. 5. There will be a reception on Saturday, Oct. 13 from 2 to 9 p.m. Gallery member artists will be present and the public is invited to attend. Elisa Ferracane, a noted artist and designer, has created a special artwork which will be available through a silent auction conducted throughout the Black Bear Film Festival, Oct. 11 -14. Proceeds from the auction will be donated to the festival. The artwork consists of a panel of multiple layers of glass into which Elisa has carved a black bear’s den picturing the mother and three cubs. The finished artwork will be on view at the Artery Gallery. Elisa will be displaying many other works in glass. There will be many multi-colored, hand formed vases with etched figures and designs for sale at the gallery. Chris Hobbs works with highly detailed line drawings that are layered into three dimensional forms. His subject matter ranges from abstraction through landscape and architectural structures. His love of detail, symmetry, dimension, and color are evident in every piece. Chris has won Best-in-Show and First Place Awards In the New Hope Annual Fine Arts Show and Cape May Fine Arts Exhibits and his work has been very popular with collectors and the general public. Twenty other members of this co-op gallery will have new work on display in the spacious Forest Hall Building gallery located at the stop light in Milford, PA. The gallery is open Thursday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Monday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. It is closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Call 570-409-1234
