HAWLEY You can join in the fun of life in the Middle Ages in Bingham Park, Hawley, Aug. 29. Visitors to the Canton of Riverouge and Hawley’s Movies in the Park’s Medieval Movie night, Aug. 29 in Bingham Park on Main Ave. (US Route 6) in Hawley can join the fun by wearing your own Medieval costume. Prizes will be given to the best non-SCA member costume for different age groups. Medieval Movie night is free and begins at 6 p.m. with Riverouge members presenting displays, games and crafts from life in Medieval times, including warriors fighting in armor. The demonstrations will be followed at 8:30 p.m. by a Medieval-themed movie. Enjoy the tale of a squire who changes his stars and becomes a knight featuring a young actor whose star went out too soon.
