Greenbaum at Golden Fish fete
MILFORD Art After Dark on Saturday, Aug. 9, at the Golden Fish Gallery, 307 Broad Street in Milford will feature the artist Joann Wells Greenbaum. In addition, the gallery will celebrate its 11th anniversary in Milford and its 35th anniversary as an art gallery. A wine and cheese reception for the artist will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Music will be provided by the violinist Ludmila Fomina. Joann Wells Greenbaum uses pen and ink and watercolor to render delightful and fanciful works of art. She is inspired by feelings suggested by soft or brilliant colors and organic shapes that evolve into simple, poetic forms. Her paintings present a fanciful environment allowing the viewer to select their favorite symbols, shapes and colors that reveal a favorite story or memory.
