MILFORD — From now until Dec. 30, visitors to Grey Towers National Historic Site can see all three floors of the beautifully decorated 1886-mansion either by taking a guided tour or browsing through the rooms. Guided tours are offered on weekdays at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. through Dec. 19 and Dec. 22, 23. On weekends and holiday week, Dec. 20-21, and 27-30) visitors can browse through all three floors from 1 - 4 p.m. In addition, special holiday programs are offered throughout the month. The fee is $4 per person; free for children 12 and under. Sorry, but we do not accept passes with this special fee. Grey Towers has been hosting seasonal programs for more than 25 years. The mansion is beautifully decorated by the Milford Garden Club, which has a long-standing relationship with Grey Towers. It takes weeks of planning and at least two full days of intensive hanging, draping, adorning and arranging to decorate all three floors, staircases and fireplace mantels in the French chateauesque mansion.
