Herb store tour

HAWLEY — Herbalist Nathaniel Whitmore will be hosting an herb store tour at Northern Lights Natural Food in Hawley on Saturday, Feb. 28, at 3 p.m. Whitmore will be offering a tour of the shelves that contain herbal products, such as dried herbs, prepared “teas”, tinctures, and herbal capsules and tablets. This introductory discussion will help guests to begin using herbs to support their health. Whitmore teaches from his experiences as a wildcrafter and professional herbalist and always seeks to empower people to use herbs to care for themselves. This tour will offer a practical introduction to the world of medicinal herbs. Northern Lights Natural Foods is a new health food store in Hawley.
