Honey Dewdrops, Joseph in the Well at the Hawley Silk Mill

HAWLEY — The Honey Dewdrops and Joseph in the Well will perform at the Hawley Silk Mill this weekend.
The Honey Dewdrops play Appalachian bluegrass, and just came out on top in this year’s A Prairie Home Companion nationwide talent search. Acoustic Guitar Magazine describes them as a "handcrafted sound centered on swarming harmonies and acoustic guitars that churn like a paddlewheel and shimmer like heat waves on the highway."
The show starts at 8 p.m. on Friday, March 4. Tickets are $22
Joseph in the Well, Sammie Music Award’s Artist of the Year and Outstanding New Artist, is an original music project led by violinist-looper Joe Kye. The duo features violin, lush string loops, upright bass, and percussion. Their unique sound has been influenced by artists including Andrew Bird, Sufjan Stevens, and Miles Davis, and draws rock, jazz, classical, and world music.
The show starts at 8 p.m. on Saturday, March 5. Tickets are $22.
Concerts by Harmony Presents are located in the underground theater of the Hawley Silk Mill at 8 Silk Mill Drive in Hawley. Ticket holders get 20 percent off their bill at Glass Wine Bar & Bistro after 9:30 p.m. on the day of the show.
