Installation artist, Hardesty at Lacawac Sanctuary

LAKE ARIEL — Lacawac Sanctuary is hosting a series of three art events to be held at the Sanctuary’s Carriage House, each followed by a buffet supper at the historic lodge. On Saturday, June 7, renowned Installation Artist Michael Hardesty will introduce his work. Hardesty’s work is on permanent exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Residing in Wayne County and a member of the Wayne County Arts Alliance, Hardesty promises a fascinating, visually-aided talk, guaranteed to provoke questions. Come, meet the artist. Learn about the training behind the execution of the work. Gain insight into the creative powers of the artist. An opportunity for discussion and questions will follow each event.
