WHITE MILLS n A remarkably accomplished group of musicians, the Jupiter Symphony Chamber Players, will present a world-class performance on Saturday, July 7 at the Wildflower Theater on the grounds of the Dorflinger-Suydam Wildlife Sanctuary, White Mills. The concert begins at 6 p.m. The Jupiter Symphony Chamber Players perform not only well-known, well-loved repertoire, but also great works that are lesser known. Founder Jens Nygaard was always on a constant search for fine composers caught, for whatever reason, in the byways of musical history. The program for the evening will include Mozart and Rossini. This performance is sponsored by Jim and Bette Asselstine. General admission tickets are $20, students 6 to 18 years are $10. There is no charge for children under six. Upcoming concerts in the concert series include: Melissa King and PhatGrass, Preservation Hall Jazz Band (special $30 ticket), the Wildflower Steppingstones Young Artist Concert with Elan Royster & Laura Frey, Time for Three, Minas, Rachael Price and the Lonesome River Band. The general admission performance begins at 6:00 p.m. at the Wildflower Amphitheater on the grounds of the Dorflinger-Suydam Wildlife Sanctuary in White Mills, between Hawley and Honesdale. Guests are invited to bring lawn chairs and pack a picnic to enjoy the pristine setting. Picnics may also be ordered in advance from The Settlers Inn, Hawley. Light beverages will be for sale on the Sanctuary grounds. In the event of inclement weather, the performance will be held at the air-conditioned auditorium at the Wallenpaupack Area High School. All performers and programs are subject to change.
