Learn the fine art of rug hooking

MILFORD - While resembling colonial folk art or the most defined of Persian designs, primitive rug-hooking is an art that will be offered in an upcoming class. Betsy Reed, of Heavens to Betsy, will present an all-day rug-hooking workshop on Saturday, Feb. 3. Whether just wanting to explore this art-medium for the first time, or accelerating basic skills, Reed will help attendees hone their creativity by presenting technique and design tips in the folk-art style.
