Merry Widow - two performances

NARROWSBURG, N.Y. — On Friday, July 24, at 7:30 p.m., The Delaware Valley Opera presents Franz Lehar’s comic opera “The Merry Widow,” with some of the most famous and beautiful melodies of all time. Sung in English, it is fully staged and costumed with chamber orchestra conducted by Artistic Director Dr. Jim Blanton. The cast includes Eileen Mackintosh as the Widow, Jody Weatherstone, Anthony Daino and Christian Bowers. The performance Friday is at the Tusten Theatre, 210 Bridge Street, Narrowsburg, N.Y. A Sunday, July 26, 3 p.m. performance of “The Merry Widow”, will be at the Seelig Theatre, Sullivan County Community College, 112 College Street, Loch Sheldrake, N.Y.
