MILFORD - Elisa Ferracane, a Milford glass artist, has recently completed a series of glass etchings that decorate the transom windows of Staten Island’s Borough Hall. The windows were a large part of the renovation project begun six years ago by members of the Borough Hall Centennial Restoration Corporation. The restoration project was completed with the installation of two panes of hand-carved glass in doors on either end of the lobby hallway. Elisa Ferracane’s works in glass are on display in the Artery Gallery where she is an active member. Her work is in the collections of notables such as former President George H. Bush, the late John F. Kennedy Jr., and Geraldine Ferraro. The Artery Gallery is located in the. Forest Hall Building, at the stoplight, in Milford. The gallery is open Thursday through Sunday from 10 to 5 p.m. and Monday 11 to 3 p.m.
