Native American dance and drum program

    Hawley - The Wallenpaupack Historical Society and PPL are proud to present a program demonstrating Native American culture from 1:30 to 3 p.m., Saturday, March 24, at the Wallenpaupack Environmental Learning Center. Frank Little Bear, musician, artist and professor, will lead the program. Watch Native American culture come to life while participating in dancing, drumming and stories from the Southwest, Northern Plains and Eastern Woodlands. The Wallenpaupack Environmental Learning Center is part of PPL’s Wallenpaupack hydroelectric project, built in 1926 near Hawley. The learning center is off U.S. Route 6 just east of the intersection of Routes 590 and 6 and next to Wallenpaupack Area High School.
