MILFORD n Ed Nazarko’s exhibit of color photographs of New York City explores color and light. The show includes both conventional photographs and transformations in which Nazarko has manipulated the photographic capture using digital and conventional techniques in order to re-create the sensations at the time of original light capture. The exhibit of 20 photos includes a one-by-twelve foot panorama that shows the rhythm of the Manhattan skyline glowing in the last rays of sunset, jazz for the eyes. The images are a study of how light transforms and is transformed by the city’s shapes, surfaces and seasons. Nazarko’s photographs will be on view from June 9 through July 14. An opening reception with refreshments will be held on Saturday, June 9 from 6 to 9 p.m., during Milford’s monthly Art After Dark evening.
