Oil painting class beginning

MILFORD — A six-week series of oil painting classes begins this weekend at the Milford Borough Hall. Beginners learn a technique of underpainting with emphasis on value study and composition. Subsequent layering with color. Use of limited palette and mixing your own colors will also be introduced. Returning students can explore own subject matter at own pace, with individual instruction. Your own style and technique will be encouraged. Sessions run Jan. 17 to Feb. 21. on Saturdays, 10:30 a.m to 1:30 p.m. The cost is $150 and $135 for Pike County Arts and Crafts members.
