Oklahoma Project Saturday at Bar Louis

Milford n Folkabilly rock band “will sting harder than a swarm of killer bees, sweeter than your grandmother and more lonesome than a Saturday night at the Laundromat.” A fresh five-piece independent folkabilly rock band, The Oklahoma Project, will perform at Bar Louis at the Hotel Fauchere, in Milford, Pennsylvania, this Saturday evening, July 7, at 9 p.m. The Tivoli, N.Y., based group is back at Bar Louis for a return engagement, after a stunning performance during the Milford Music Festival. The Oklahoma Project’s Walker Pett’s ocean songs from the Midwest meet the old-time ruminations of Maggie Carson’s clawhammer banjo. Underscored by a sensibility of pure rock, they’ll sting harder than a swarm of killer bees, sweeter than your grandmother and more lonesome than a Saturday night at the laundromat. There is no cover charge, but reservations are encouraged. Call 570-409-1212 or e-mail reservations@hotelfauchere.com . Bar Louis is located on the ground level of the Hotel Fauchere at 401 Broad Street in Milford, PA.
