Old fashioned holiday weekend

MONTAGUE, N.J. — The Montague Association for Restoration of Community History (MARCH) is having its “Old Fashioned Holiday Weekend at the Historical Foster-Armstrong House.” There will be special holiday exhibits on Saturday and Sunday Dec. 1 & 2, weather permitting, between 1 and 4 p.m., at the c. 1790 Foster- Armstrong House. The National Register site is located at 320 River Road/County Route 521 in Montague, N.J., just above the Milford-Montague Bridge, within the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. Come and experience a nostalgic Christmas setting. Costumed docents will give tours of rooms, each decorated in a different period style. Handmade crafts, homemade baked goods, refreshments, and books will be offered for sale. Santa will make a visit on Sat. Dec. 1st.
