More that sixty people attended the book celebration and poetry reading by Chuck O’Neil at the Columns Museum earlier this month. “Backstory,” the new book of poems by O’Neil, was featured. This was the third reading by O’Neil at the Columns. “This compilation of poems took five years to make and I was so honored to read beside the Lincoln flag with such an attentive group, and I am very grateful to the Pike County Historical Society,” O’Neil said. All proceeds for the sale of “Backstory” in Milford and O’Neil’s other works (“The Perfect Scar” and “Eating Out”) will be donated to the United Way of Pike County. His books are available at Mill Run Booksellers and Seventh Street Coffee.
