Pearce to exhibit at Chant's in Dingman

DINGMANS FERRY — Westfall Township resident and artist Kim Pearce will be exhibiting his works during the month of September at the Davis R. Chant Real Estate office on state Route 739. An opening reception will be held Saturday, Sept. 8, from 5 to 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. A native of Milford, Pearce will be exhibiting and selling many of his pieces in a wide-ranging, large-scale show featuring various mediums. He will offer both originals and prints for sale. For those who are unable to attend the opening reception, the exhibit will be hanging at the Chant Real Estate office through the end of September. Area residents may be familiar with Pearce’s recent Centennial paintings for both the City of Port Jervis and Borough of Matamoras. In addition, Pearce regularly exhibits at area arts events. For the past 22 years, Pearce has been a commercial art instructor at the New York State Correctional Facility at Fishkill. A catalog of his work can be found online at www.kimpearce.com.
