Middletown, N.Y. — The photography exhibit “Painting with Light: An Eclectic Mix by photographer Andy Conrad” is now on exhibit through March 27 in Orange Hall Gallery Loft on the campus of Orange County Community College in Middletown. Conrad’s subjects include cityscapes, mountains and streams, wildlife, lighthouses, and fireworks. A reception will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 2. The reception and exhibit are free and open to the public. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Mondays through Thursdays, and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Fridays. The Gallery Loft will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. On Feb. 29 and March 14, the Gallery Loft will be open 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Andy Conrad has lived in many areas of the United States is now a resident of Milford. He has had a lifelong interest in photography. There is no real theme to what Conrad shoots. He looks for interesting subjects that include color, composition, contrast, lighting, and texture. This collection of 50 photos includes photos shot with a variety of cameras, from .5 megapixel cameras to 6.1 megapixel SLR camera. Orange Hall is universally accessible and located at the corner of Grandview and Wawayanda Avenues in Middletown.
