Quilters Guild sets meetings

Westfall — On Wednesday May 21, Carol Hill will be teaching a basic quilting class, it is open to all members of the Quilting Guild. The class starts at 7 p.m. in the Delaware Valley Middle School cafeteria. Carol will be covering the basics of quilting including; borders, putting the layers together, basting, and attaching the binding. On Thursday May 22, Patti Shreiner will be teaching a class creating Molas. The Molas class will be held at the Delaware Township Building from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., kits will be included. Members interested should sign up and bring scissors, thread, a needle, and their lunch. Wednesday, May 28 will be the annual Spring Social. The Social will be held in the Delaware Valley Middle School cafeteria and will start at 6:30 p.m. Sign up to bring your favorite dish to share. The Social will not only be the perfect time to introduce the new Board members but, we will be having a Place Setting contest. When creating your Place Setting think bright colorful gardens and all the nature that surrounds us.
