Quilters to gather

WESTFALL — The Milford Valley Quilters Guild will hold its monthly program meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 28. The meeting will be held in the Delaware Valley Middle School cafeteria and will start at 7 p.m. The speaker will be member Leslie Lacika of Milford. The title of the program is “More Than Cotton - Unusual fabrics and unique items in your quilts.” Leslie will demonstrate how to incorporate such things as ties, ribbons, hankies, lame, and even hardware into your wearables and even your quilts. Be sure to bring any of your own “special finds” with you to the meeting to see how they may enhance your quilts. Due to the possibility of inclement weather, please call the Delaware Valley Middle School at 570-296-1830 to be sure that after-school events have not been cancelled before venturing out.
