WESTFALL — The Milford Valley Quilters Guild will hold its monthly program meeting on Wednesday, March 25, in the Delaware Valley Middle School cafeteria and will start at 7 p.m. The speaker will be Leslie Lacika, a guild member, who will be lecturing on “Unusual Fabrics and Materials Used in Quilting.” This lecture will demonstrate how different textures and textiles such as rickrack, hankies, gloves or even hardware can be used in your quilting projects to make them distinctively unique. Be sure to bring anything in your stash that you think would be interesting and brainstorm to see how you can incorporate them in your next project. This lecture is sure to bring out the creativeness that’s hiding within each of us. For additional information about this meeting, contact pksquilt@ptd.net.
