Reception at Pike Modern Art Gallery

    Milford — Pike Modern Art Gallery, located at 113 7th Street in the Old Lumberyard Shops, invites all to attend a closing reception on Saturday, May 26, from 5 to 8 p.m., for their current exhibit, “Thoughts on the meaning of spring.” Attending the event will be two artists featured in Pike Modern’s first exhibit of 2007, Anthony Ballatorre of West Brookfield, New York, and Kelly McCool of Marshall’s Creek, Pa. After the wine and cheese reception, guests are also invited to celebrate the successful spring reopening of the gallery at Bar Louis. “We’ve been thrilled with the reception we’ve received since our first show,” said owner Matt Levine. “Offering both established collectors and newcomers New York City quality art, right here in Historic Milford.” Opened in August 2007, Pike Modern has quickly established itself as a leading galleries in the Pocono Mountains and the Tri-State region.
