    HAWLEY n Numerous species of frog, lizard, snake and turtle reside in the Lake Wallenpaupack region. Join John Serrao, author and naturalist, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, July 14 as he explains their identifying features, habits, special adaptations, role in nature’s food webs, and the environmental problems they face today. The program, which is free and open to the public, will take place at the Wallenpaupack Environmental Learning Center. Registration is required. The Wallenpaupack Environmental Learning Center is part of PPL’s Wallenpaupack hydroelectric project, built in 1926 near Hawley, Pa. The learning center is off Route 6 just east of the intersection of Routes 590 and 6 and next to Wallenpaupack Area High School.
