— Seth Glier, described by The New York Times as a "rising folk sensation," will return to the Silk Mill, 8 Silk Mill Drive, in Hawley at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19.

Glier is a seasoned troubadour who will be joined by multi-instrumentalist Joe Nerney and bassist Marc Seedorf. Averaging over 250 live performances annually, Glier has gone from opening act to headlining his own shows and playing major folk festivals. He’s shared the stage with artists as diverse as James Taylor, Ani DiFranco, Martin Sexton, Emmylou Harris and Ryan Adams and has quickly become known for his passionate live sets. USA Today says his "exquisite tenor echoes Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel."

Jill Carletti, managing director of Harmony Presents, which is sponsoring the show, said Glier is also a national spokesperson for the Autism Awareness Foundation and an advocate or Musicians On Call.

The Cocoon Catering Company caters wine, beer and light snacks on site for all shows. A limited amount of advance tickets for $18 are available for 40 ticket buyers and general admission tickets will be available for $22.
