‘Sneak Peek' tasting at Laurel Villa

    Exclusive evening will feature five wine premieres MILFORD — You can be among the very first in Pennsylvania to savor five new vintages from around the globe as the Laurel Villa Country Inn & Restaurant in Milford presents a “Sneak Peek” wine-tasting on Friday, April 17 at 6:30 p.m. “These are fine new wines that are just about to hit the market,” said Janice Halsted, Innkeeper at the Laurel Villa. “We’ve chosen this selection for their quality and their diversity — there’s something for everyone!” Guests will enjoy three whites including Alamos Torrontes from Argentina, and Mirassou Sauvignon Blanc and Bridlewood Chardonnay, both from California. The featured reds are Don Miguel Gascon Malbec from Argentina and Pieguia Chianti Classico from Italy. Each wine will be presented and discussed by Tom Rogari of Capital Wines & Spirits. Chef Carl will create a selection of delicious hors d’oeuvres to accompany each wine, and guests who choose to stay for dinner will receive 15 percent off their entree. Seating for the “Sneak Peek” tasting is limited and reservations, at $25 per person, should be made by Sunday, April 12.
