Sponsors flock for frolic

MATAMORAS — There has been an outpouring of community support for the upcoming Country Ark Farm Family Frolic, scheduled for June 20 at the Riverview Inn in Matamoras. “We are overwhelmed and so deeply appreciative for the strong support that we’ve realized through the generous support of so many Pike County businesses and individuals,” said Donna Ciantto, co-founder and program director of Country Ark Farm. Counted among the Platinum Sponsors for the fundraising event are Mr. and Mrs. Sam Ruello, SolutionPro EnergySmart Building and MC Construction. Gold Sponsors comprise The Litzenburger Foundation, Spa Partners and the Ingeborg A. Biondo Memorial Foundation. The unique fundraising event has also garnered the support of forty-two Event Co-Sponsors. The Country Ark Farm (CAF) fundraising event will be a first of its kind for the tri-state area. This two-part event includes an afternoon featuring many of the people-friendly animals from CAF, a 26-acre farm located just outside of Milford that is devoted to serving the needs of developmentally disabled children and adults through animal, art and recreational therapies.
