Teubner exhibits at the Artery
MILFORD n The Artery Gallery will open a new show for the summer season. The exhibition will feature the pastel paintings of Jane McGraw Teubner, PSA. Jane is from Northport, N.Y., and is a new member of the gallery. Jane has won numerous awards at juried shows. She was accepted into the 8th and 10th Annual Catherine Lorillard Wolfe Juried National Shows and the Pastel Society of America’s National Juried Show in 2005 where she won the Salmagundi Award for her pastel “Pebbles and Beach Grass”. Both shows were held at the National Arts Club in New York City. In 2007, she was accepted into the prestigious Salmagundi Art Club in New York City as a resident artist. Jane is also a marathon runner. She has completed 12 marathons in Boston, New York City, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., and Corning N.Y. She says “Running has taught me patience and persistence which you need in order to become a successful artist.” The exhibition opens July 12 and closes Aug. 5. The public is invited to the reception on Saturday, July 14, from 2 to 9 p.m. Jane and other gallery artists will be present to greet all visitors. The Artery Gallery is located in the Forest Hall Building, at the stop-light, in Milford.
