V shines At Vernon art competition

WESTFALL Nine Delaware Valley High School juniors and seniors who recently had their artwork exhibited at the ninth annual Vernon (N.J.) High School Invitational Art Exhibit. They are: Morgan Keller, Julianne Fedor, Katie Yuen, Kristyne Kosenkov, Lany Amadolvo, Brittany Naundorf, Hannah Garrison, Sammy Jauch, and Lisa Smith. Eleven schools surrounding the Vernon Township School District submitted up to 10 of their best pieces from juniors and seniors for the competition. The categories were: Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, Crafts, Photography, and an open category. The University of the Arts was present to conduct the judging. From Delaware Valley, Brittany Naundorf earned the Second Prize ribbon in the painting category for her surrealist piece titled, “Surreal Me” and Hannah Garrison won one of two $20,000 scholarships offered by the University of the Arts. Hannah’s painting, which was 4 feet by 6 feet of stretched canvas, is titled “Umbrella”.
