Weekend humane society fundraiser
Pet adoptions, pony rides, petting zoo and benefit craft sale at Country Kettle for the Pike County Humane Society Milford Bring the kids out to Country Kettle, 2523 Milford Road (Business Route 209) in East Stroudsburg, on June 14 and 15 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for a Petting Zoo and Pony Rides to benefit the Pike County Humane Society. In addition to the animals, Country Kettle will open up its Close-Out’ shop filled with hundreds of crafts and collectables for 50 percent off the close-out prices. This exciting event will also include pet adoptions of great pets from the Pike County Humane Society, refreshments and more. Country Kettle and Future Vision’s Farm have graciously donated their services and products to benefit the Pike County Humane Society’s shelter efforts. All proceeds from the event will go to helping pets in need at the shelter. “I am so happy that these businesses are helping out. We do so many great things for the community’s welfare and our local businesses can really help with events like these,” said Barry Heim, executive director of the Pike County Humane Society. The Pike County Humane Society provides services for Pike County that help protect the welfare and the health of communities we live in. The society works 24 hours a day, seven days a week to assist in animal emergencies, cruelty cases, stray animals, fighting diseases through care and control of animals that can get passed to humans and much more.
