Wild Pennsylvania' conservancy hosts a multi-media presentation
HAWLEY Acclaimed nature photographer Michael Gadomski will present his multi-media program featuring Pennsylvania’s natural environment at the monthly meeting of The Lackawaxen River Conservancy on Tuesday, June 17,at 7 p.m. in the PPL Environmental Center on Lake Wallenpaupack, US Route 6, Hawley. An area native, Gadomski was employed as a naturalist and park ranger with the Pennsylvania Bureau of State Parks for 25 years. Since 2002 he has devoted himself to a full-time career as a professional photographer. “Wild Pennsylvania,” combining images, sound, and narration, is based on his recently published book of the same name, and was selected for showing at the 2007 Black Bear Film Festival. The public is cordially invited to attend what promises to be an inspiring and informative event. Monthly meetings, typically with guest speakers, are open to both conservancy members and the general public and are held on the third Tuesday of each month starting at 7 p.m. at the Lake Wallenpaupack Environmental Center.
