Workshop: Decorate your shoes

STROUDSBURG — Teens and adults are invited to a custom shoe painting workshop from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 12, at the Pocono Arts Council, with artist Ted Michalowski.

This fun, practical workshop will result in fine art for your feet. Use your creative energy to design your own canvas shoes.

The instructor will guide you through the painting process, and each participant will leave this workshop with one or two pairs of one-of-a-kind, designer shoes.

Bring one or two pair of plain white canvas shoes in your choice of style. All other materials are provided.

Tuition is $20 for members, or $30 for nonmembers. The materials fee is $12.

The Pocono Arts Council is located at 18 N. 7 St. in Stroudsburg.
