There are some very considerate readers in Courier territory.
Terry Balton of Milford writes: "I didn't want to leave Matt Osterberg to have to answer this one alone this week so I logged on to join him in taking a guess that this photo is of the great little shops at Apple Valley. They have some really wonderful shops located there. Milford Custom Upholstery, Breathless Beauty and Pike County Outfitters to name a few. Shop Local!"
Correct on all points.
And, no surprise, Pike County Commissioner Matt Osterberg did send in his usual spot-on answer, along with Carl Muller, Doug and Babette Dow ("Great place ... has been there for years"), and Jane Ridley, all of Milford.
