East Stroudsburg University (ESU) has launched a newly redesigned website, marking the first major update to the school’s site in nearly a decade.

The updated website introduces a more engaging and user-friendly experience and an intuitive navigation structure that connects users easily with the information they need, whether they are prospective students exploring academic programs, current students navigating their journey through higher education, faculty and staff using resources to aid students, and community members or individuals interested to stay informed in campus news and events. The redesign project was guided by extensive research and feedback from dozens of stakeholders across the University, including students, faculty, and staff under the guidance of the Office of Marketing and Communications and the Office of Web Services.

“We are excited to unveil this new, student-focused website,” said ESU President Kenneth Long. “By highlighting the successes and outcomes of our students and alumni, the new site reflects each pillar of ESU’s new Strategic Plan — developing a culture of student success, fostering a community of belonging, optimizing information and technology, and creating an engaged and motivated workplace.”

President Long thanked ESU’s creative marketing agency, idfive for their collaboration with the campus community and incorporating their feedback into a creative new look, as well as ESU’s offices of web services and marketing and communications for their leadership on the project.

The new design includes a dynamic homepage that features video and imagery that showcase life on campus, academic classrooms and research, and aerial footage of campus located near the Delaware Water Gap in the heart of the Pocono Mountains. Prospective students will find enhanced tools and resources to support the application process, while current students can easily access information related to advising, billing, internships, student activities, and other resources essential to success during and after their time at ESU.
