The Pike County Workforce Development Agency has been hosting job fairs in Pike County for 25 years. However, this is the first year the Working Pike will organize a Fall event.

The organization known as Working Pike is a collaboration of county government, faith-based assemblies and private organizations. Its mission is to build a stronger community through this partnership.

Cindy DeFebo, Pike County Workforce Development Agency Director said, “With the spring Working Pike Job Fair having an incredible turnout from both employers and job seekers, the agency started to explore its options. We decided to host a fall job fair to provide an additional opportunity to those who may not have been able to attend one of our previous hiring events.”

The sponsors for the Job Fair by the Lake include Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau, Lackawanna College Lake Region Center, Bold Gold Media, and Silver Birches.

Tables are still available. Employers seeking employees are encouraged to complete a registration form. Digital and printable versions are available on the Workforce Development webpage at www.pikepa.org/workforce. Tables are $55.00.
